Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define annual targets, sales budgets, and performance metrics.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions or business units.
- Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and coaching plans for team members.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative sales culture.
Business Development & Key Accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries and channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Oversee negotiation of high-value contracts and long-term agreements.
Channel & Distribution Management
- Optimize distribution networks including direct sales, dealers, and third-party partners.
- Monitor and improve distributor performance, pricing, and product availability.
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure smooth operations across territories.
Sales Operations & Forecasting
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using CRM systems.
- Analyze data to monitor performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Drive operational efficiency and accurate sales planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics to align inventory with demand.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation, brand visibility, and product launches.
- Coordinate with finance on pricing, profitability analysis, and payment terms.
Customer Relationship & Retention
- Develop customer loyalty programs and long-term relationship strategies.
- Handle major customer issues and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
I. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
II. Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
III. Proven experience in manufacturing and distribution industries (e.g., FMCG, industrial products, logistics, etc.)
IV. Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and production capabilities
V. Demonstrated success in managing large sales teams and driving revenue growth
VI. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
VII. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
VIII. Willingness to travel as needed
