What You’ll Do:
The Credit and Collections Specialist is focused on resolution of past due accounts within the parameters of existing credit and collections policies as well as decision making and judgment regarding accounts receivable and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage portfolio of accounts receivable for assigned territory.
• Contact customers to obtain promises to pay and follow up on status of payments or determine reasons for customer's non-payment and escalate if necessary.
• Serve as liaison between customer and field sales and service to resolve disputes and initiate credit memos as needed.
• Contact customers to resolve past due balances prior to release.
• Secure Purchase Orders from customers when required.
• Perform AR/Collections reporting, track payment progress, and analyze customer payment patterns to ensure efficient collections.
• Accurately enter electronic invoices and customer account information into internal systems.
• Provide detailed account backup, submit tie-offs, and request refunds to resolve account discrepancies.
• Review current account status, get payment commitment and document all relevant information in internal account systems.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable.
• Experience with Epicor Software, B2B collections and collections within the US market is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and comfortable using internal systems for tracking and managing accounts.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues professionally and promptly.
• Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills in English, with advanced proficiency in written communication.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills or take on additional tasks.
• Self-motivated with a focus on achieving targets and ensuring timely resolutions.
• Must have stable employment history.
